Unit 3 Assignment Two

Research Conclusion

The results of my research overall indicate that the negative stigmatism revolving around teenagers and the rebellious phase of adolescence is false. When asked whether or not pressure was felt more from peers like parents believe or from parents themselves, the unanimous answer was towards the latter however a lot of teens did claim to be influenced by their friends. 70% felt that a majority of the pressure in their life stems from their education and their academic success as their biggest fear is disappointing their parents.  Many of the adolescences asked did agree that the relationship between them and their parents had changed but in a positive way.

A majority of secondary research results support the conclusion that a majority of teens feel the most pressure and fear revolving around education and the stress it entails however no other sources suggested a means to aide adolescences with where they struggled the most. This supports the theory or this conclusion being relatively new as no actions have been performed as of now that would help students. One of the questions which i thought would encourage opposite answers was the follow up question to believing whether or not the relationship between parents and their children had changed which was overwhelming responded to with yes but in a positive way. Many teens believed that they can be more open with their parents and are treated more their age as adolescents than before.

Overall the research showed that there is a very fine line between what teens regards as pressure and as influence and that they don't conform to previous stereotypes and beliefs many members of society held over them and if anything they instead challenge them.
